PD: Que tan a menudo sonríes?

It seems to me that when we face challenges or difficult situations, one of the conditions to face them successfully is, without a doubt, to keep a smile on our faces.

I don’t mean to force a smile, no! We have to keep on smiling with our whole body, to focus on our happiness. Life is short: why get upset over everything?

To keep on smiling should be your life philosophy, as it is mine. Yes, I know, how could it not be, when I am a cardmaker, right?

In truth, a big part of my decision to make cards is based on that: transmitting smiles.

Getting a hand-made card… – I know, I’ve told you many times, but it’s worth repeating – it’s like getting hours of playtime with your grandpa at the local park, it’s like having ice-cream for dessert in summer, like swinging higher and higher and closing your eyes to feel the wind on your face.

Could you imagine that feeling? Well, it’s all of that at once; that’s what we feel when we receive a card. And it’s so easy, totally within your grasp!

Smiling doesn’t mean not facing situations, it means facing them, but with a different point of view, from another place. From a place where we feel better, safer, from where we can glimpse a solution and a way out.

Everything in life has a solution, except for you-know-what. So, let’s keep a smile on our face to deal with things and move forward!

To make this set of cards, I used the famous Ombré inks from Hero Arts for the first time! And I can honestly say they’ve made me smile a lot! There’s a trick to using them, which I explain in the video, so the color changes gradually.

PS: How often do you smile?
